Orchestral Manager

Jane Rogers

Jane looks after the orchestral musicians, ensures that all parts are covered for concerts and that everyone has all of the correct information. She also deals with any issues members of the orchestra may have. 

 

Stage and Logistics  Manager

Vacant Position

The Stage and Logistics Manager will ensure that all equipment that is required for a performance gets there and is set up correctly, during the performance they let people know when and where they are needed and that the performances run on time. It is also their responsibility for ensuring that all equipment is packed down and returned to St Peter's after a performance. 

 

Events Manager

Vacant Position

The Events Manager will organise concerts and recitals, take bookings from third parties and negotiate the appropriate fees and payments. They will also ensure that posters, flyers and programmes are designed and correct.

Sponsorship Manager

Vacant Position

The Sponsorship Manager will look after our sponsors, negotiate deals and keep in touch with them. The main part of the job is to be the first point of contact for potential sponsors.

 

Financial Manager

Zoe Bond 

The Financial Manger looks after all of the finances for the orchestra and its related ensembles and youth work. The role entails: Co-ordination with the church treasurer, bank accounts, payments in and out, invoices and preparing statements etc...

Marketing and PR Manager

Vacant Position

The Marketing and PR Manager will design posters, flyers and the programmes and work to promote the orchestra, it's related ensembles,  performances, recordings etc... They will be in contact will the media and write articles for the Friends of the SPCO newsletter. This role will suit someone with a flare for design and journalism.

Music For Children and Young People Manager

Vacant Position

The Music For Children and Young People Manager will organise and manage all events, rehearsals and concerts to do with anyone under the age of 18. This includes the forthcoming Children's Choir, Youth Choir and Youth Orchestra. This role requires a DBS check.

Friends of The SPCO Manager

Vacant Position

This role deals with anything to do with the Friends of the SPCO, newsletters, subscriptions etc...

Librarian

Vacant Position

The librarian ensures all of the sheet music we use is handed out, collected in, collected and returned to libraries and to help build up a library of music of our own.
