Running an orchestra can be very expensive, there are many areas that we will need financial support and these areas can be sponsored by an individual, group or business. Money we raise through sponsorship will allow us to pay for our soloists and music hire and to enable us to continue to bring our music to the local area and further afield. It also enables us to tackle repertoire such as music under copyright, which is more expensive to hire, that would otherwise be impossible for our players and audiences to enjoy.

How can you sponsor us?

There are 2 ways that you can sponsor the SPCO. The first way is to select a specific area to sponsor, such as; the cost of music hire or printing for one year. The second way is to take a sponsorships package. There are four packages available from bronze to platinum, each has different prices and benefits. The money raised from the sponsorship packages will go into the general fund and may be used for any area we need to finance.

Area Sponsorship

The following list of areas may be sponsored by financial donation or in some cases services offered by an individual, a number of individuals to make up the cost, a group of people or a business etc...  ​

• Music hire and printing

• Publicity and associated printing costs

• Purchase or hire of musical instruments (for example: Timpani, bass drum, celeste, harpsichord, piano etc...)

• The cost of hiring a professional soloist for a concert, season or year.

• The cost of hiring the Director of Music for a concert, season or year.

• The cost of hiring the Assistant Director of Music for a concert, season or year.

• The cost of keeping our website online for a year.
