There will be other ensembles within the SPCO which perform at services, recitals, weddings and other functions. To be part of the Orchestra or any of these ensembles you must be 18 or over. If you are under 18 then please go to the 'Music for children and young people' page for our dedicated youth ensembles.

Consort De Sancti Petri

Early Music Ensemble

The Consort De Sancti Petri concentrates on music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The ensemble is made up of recorder players, a small string ensemble and a continuo, maybe even Sackbutts, Cornetts and Serpents.

Chenevare Ensemble

Wind Ensemble

The Chenevare Ensemble is a wind ensemble which can range in size from 4 to 12 players depending on the style of performance required. This ensemble is available for weddings and other functions.

Canzoni Ensemble

Brass Ensemble

The Canzoni Ensemble is a brass ensemble which can range in size from 4 players to 12 depending on the style of performance required. This ensemble is available for weddings and other functions.

Kynfare Ensemble

String Ensemble

The Kynfare Ensemble is a string ensemble which can range in size from 4 - 6 players. This ensemble is available for weddings and other functions.

St Peter's Chamber Choir

Auditioned Choir of Mixed Voices

This ensemble has not yet been formed and is part of our long term plan. Entry to the chamber choir will require an audition. To be part of the choir you must be able to read music and sight read to a good standard. Positions are limited as it will be a small choir. The choir will sing at concerts and recitals and with a chamber orchestra.

SPCO Chorus

Massed Choir of Mixed Voices

This ensemble has not yet been formed and is part of our long term plan. Entry to the SPCO Chorus does not require an audition. To be part of the chorus it would help if you are able to read music and sight read to a good standard. The chorus will sing at occasional concerts with the SPCO.
